Zoomus.com is an east-coast startup company designed to compete with Groupon. Instead of customers purchasing coupons from the zoomus, the businesses offer deals and zoomus delivers them for a monthly charge.

The site has backend capabilities for management, zoomers (sales people), zars (account reps), and merchants customers.

The site was initially programmed with VB.NET and accessed a Microsoft SQL Server database. I rewrote the programs in php and migrated the database to MySQL to save the owners money.

The site provides automated billing, bulk e-mails, and automated deal delivery
