Project Description

The Southern California Writers Association is a social media group of writers.

The site is programmed with random elements such as writing quotes, and featured authors/books. The site also has a database-driven calendar function, member directory, and meeting announcements.

The site was programmed in php with a MySQL database. Javascript and JQuery enhance the user experience for the visitors to the site.

In addition to the public-facing front end, there is a member login where paid members can alter their bio, feature themselves and their books, add good news about their career, and change their personal information.
